On August 22 - 2026, we take over Shunter for the second edition of POING FESTIVAL. Across four stages, both indoor and outdoor, we’ll push boundaries with a multidisciplinary program of music, performances, and immersive light designs that will transform every corner of this raw, industrial playground.

Shunter is a new experimental music and arts venue in Rotterdam-Zuid, just a 3-minute walk from Rotterdam-Zuid station. Housed in an old train maintenance building with a massive outdoor playground, it’s the perfect setting for the second edition of POING FESTIVAL. The venue features three intimate indoor dance floors and one large main stage in the garden, nestled between train tracks—offering the ideal backdrop for the raw, immersive energy of the festival.

What are the festival times?
Doors open from 12:00 till 20:00, and the festival runs until 23:00. After that we continue at Export for the official after party!

How do I get to Brutus?
Shunter is located in Rotterdam-Zuid. You can reach it via:
Public Transport: take the train to Rotterdam-Zuid and walk from there (3 minutes).
Bike: There will be a designated bike parking area.
Car: Limited parking available; we recommend using public transport, biking or taxi.
Is the festival accessible?

Are there lockers available?

What about safety & awareness?

What is the drug policy?
POING FESTIVAL follows a zero-tolerance policy on hard drugs, in line with Dutch regulations. Soft drugs are not allowed inside the venue.
Can I leave the festival and come back later?
No, there is no re-entry once you leave the festival grounds. Make sure you bring everything you need before entering.
