ZOBAYDA is an Egyptian DJ and multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. Guided by rhythm andpercussion, her sets center energy and the tradition of bringing people together. She blends sounds from theGlobal South and its diaspora with a disregard for strict genre boundaries. Her practice extends tophotography, audio-visual direction, archiving and cultural programming.
